I use a polythene storage bin, fish tank heater and digital temperature controller for this.  Be sure to get either a glass or a titanium heater as C41 blix will corrode stainless steel.  I got this stuff from pets.com.

The Paterson reels work well with colour chemistries.  Metal = bad as the nickel in stainless steel catalyzes CD4 breakdown.

You also need an accurate thermometer to within 0.5 deg F.  I use a digital thermometer I got from Coles for $15, though you can also put a medical thermometer in a ziplok bag (the temperature range of a fever thermometer is perfect for colour chemistries, which are all around 100 to 105 deg F., and they are highly accurate.)
