[Fab] makerbot a thon

i am in town until monday afternoon. i don't feel qualified to
use this equipment unsupervised, unless it turns out to be a
simple matter of reading a manual and using linux skillfully.

i have done some modelling with openscad and i want to see
how it all comes together. some of these machines are making
nice stuff! it's all very inspirational.
