[Fab] Laser Cutter Certification

Hey Noisebridgers,

I'm working with Mingjing Huang on the lighting for the Temple at Burning
Man this year, and part of the project involves laser engraving the cover
boxes for our light fixtures.

We would love to use the laser at Noisebridge to do this engraving!

Mingjing is already certified to use the laser, while I am not.  But I've
used several laser cutters at various makerspaces (including one from
Kaitian), so I was wondering:

Would it be possible to meet up with one of the laser trainers and do a
fast-track certification?

I've signed up for the Safety Training Meetup on Thursday, July 11, but
there are 23 people on the waitlist, so I'm not optimistic that one is
going to work out, and it would be really great if I could get working on
the engraving sooner rather than later.  (Waiting for the training next
month won't leave us any time to actually do the engraving before heading
out to the playa!)
