Hi Shmuel,

I don’t have direct knowledge, since my joystick is a MK6i CMPJ+, which is a very different piece of equipment. But, I did find this MK5 documentation; it’s not terribly clear, but some of its pinout diagrams might be useful to you: https://www.phc-online.com/v/vspfiles/V4_Backup/docs/MK5-NX_Electronics_Manual.pdf

In particular, the joystick connector pinout might be what you want; it’s got a battery +/- and a communication bus +/-. I don’t know what values the communication bus pins expect, but you should be able to daisy-chain in a voltmeter and find out pretty simply.

As an electrical engineer I'm trying to make a custom input device for a patient who is losing the ability to move his hands thus he cant use the joystick from his wheelchair properly. He has an invacare spj joystick controller using the mk5 system. I have been tinkering with this thing for weeks already and I cannot find the place on the controller where I would be able to tap into the analog x, y values. Please help me help him! Thanks,
