[Iron-blogger] joining noisebridge iron-bloger

Hi folks!

I'm joining the iron blogger and wanted to post here to say hello-all.

I'm using pelican and git to publish a static site at timesausage.com
(for now), working out the kinks (argh my git remote needs to be made
bare, or maybe I'll just use a rsync githook, I DUNNO) as I go.

I'll be writing about how I set it up and fix it to start, then on to
other grander things as soon as possible:
  *'A story of two great kindoms'
  *cheap ass but reliable tried and true EE tips
  *tales of ye old noisebridge, lost california, and more
  *Dr X's responses to Dan Gelbart's excellent series of youtube
prototyping videos
  *responses to seeing spaces and other ideas by Bret Victor.


2 caveats:

1) I'm barely making rent at the moment, so the $5 for missed posts
means a lot to me. $5 in already a great simple incentive to write,
and is at the moment for me even more precious. I want to bring this
up as a motivation. I'll take the challenge seriously to write, read,
and respond to others.

So lets write and get a regular habit started.  The $5 missed week fee
is e^-13.8155 the value of a regular writing habit.  I promise to
struggle week over week, to at least post something meaningful and
worthwhile. I'll avoid that precious $5 fine, but I don't want to be
the only one.  So keep it up and try not to slack on posting for the
rest of the year. Yes, for the rest of the year.


2) I only drink on the full moon, so I only get one opportunity to
join in spending the beer fund. Next one is July 2! And after that, a
Blue Moon on the last day of July*.

*yes, I defined a  full moon for these purposes: a full 'drinking
moon' is +/-12 hours from apex, with wiggle room allowed.
