Me too! I'd be willing to talk a bit about linear regression, as I'm
screwing around with it a bunch right now for a (soon to be) open
source machine learning framework I'm working on.

On the ML wiki there were a bunch of very interesting sounding
potential topics:

Maybe we could start by getting together whoever is interested
and doing an introductory meetup and going from there?
