Hola,

In general we're working on having a balance between
presenting theory behind machine learning and working
together on projects. Working on the KDD data competition
has been very fruitful and helped us cut our teeth on the
latest ML software out there, such as Weka, Mahout, and
libSVM. Also, member presentations have been super informative
and extremely useful.

With the KDD competition ending next week, we're looking
for new projects to work on! Consider this email a general
and ongoing call for project proposals. We're going to continue
discussion about future projects at next week's meeting.
