Hey everyone, I want to restart machine learning classes in November and am
looking for people who are interested in participating.

The basic pattern I have in mind for the classes is to set up a server
running web-based python terminals, like with SAGE (http://www.sagemath.org/)
or IPython notebook (http://ipython.org/notebook.html). That way the
students don't have to deal with installing the necessary libraries to get
up and running, which has been a hindrance in past ML classes. We can build
interactive worksheets and go over exercises together.

Each core class would have one or more sessions that go over fundamental
topics in data literacy and machine learning algorithms, starting with:

Linear Algebra
Probability Theory
Optimization
Regression

Are there people out there interested in being the pilot students and
teachers? It would be great if we could all meet up soon! I'm planning on
being at Noisebridge Tuesday night for the meeting at the earliest.
