Also, on the project site there is enough information to build a prototype to experiment with it yourself if you want.

I used 2mm light pipes for the initial prototype; different wavelengths and intensities cause different evoked potentials that are easily observed on the EEG charting.

High intensity light flashed into the ear canals causes very strong EEG entrainment in several major cortexes.

I don't get it. These are earphones that flash light into your ear
canal? There are no light receptors in the ear.
