Announcing a new Meetup for Make:SF - the Bay Makers!

This month we will have our meeting in the cosy confines of
accordingly. Thanks to Noisebridge for having us!
First of all, thanks to all who came to the East Bay Maker Faire. It was a
great success despite the rain. We had a constant stream of kids coming to
check out and make TV-B-Gones and we can't wait for next year.
This month Ponoko is back with a combined speaker/miniproject extravaganza!
They be taking us through a miniproject that will show how to get a design
ready for laser cutting. The project is free but you will need your computer
with a copy of Inkscape <http://inkscape.org/> installed on it and you will
need to download these
well. For those of you who do not have a computer we will have a few
you can use on hand.
And of course we want to see your projects. So bring them in and show them
This fun-for-all-ages event starts at 6:30pm. Children under 14 need to be
accompanied by an adult.
New to Make:SF? Here is what you can do:
- New to making? Come and explore with a fun mini-project.
- Have an idea? Come and we will help you get started making it.
- Making something? Come and demo it. Get feedback and network with the
