Rails and Mixpanel

Learn how to incorporate analytics into your rails app!

This class will cover:

1. Tracking page views with Google Analytics (briefly)
2. Setting up Mixpanel
3. How to use Mixpanel intelligently:
  - Sending events
  - Tracking a user’s activity
  - The different kinds of properties: People Properties, Super Properties, Event Properties
  - Emailing drip emails to users (one of the most powerful features of mixpanel!)

Prerequisites:

1. Have a Rails Environment Set up (http://installfest.railsbridge.org/installfest/)
2. Clone the Rails School repository (see link on bottom left that says "This website is open-sourced" for the repo)
