This sounds like a fantastic idea, and I'm interested in helping!
Noisebridge currently doesn't have a physical space, but I'm confident
we can arrange something if we still don't have a space by class-time.
We do have access to at least one projector, and more computers than you
can shake a stick at.
Our previous workshops (Mitch's Brain Machine workshop, in SF and at
HOPE) had just a cost-of-materials fee. In that case, people could
provide their own materials, and we also had a stock of materials for
people to pay for on site; I think everybody at the SF workshop bought
day-of, but many people (maybe 10%?) at HOPE brought their own projects
to work on.
Are you thinking of a multi-day (N saturdays in a row), two-session, or
single-day workshop?
It's great to (virtually) meet you, and after you move I hope you can
make it to one of our meetings (Tuesdays at 8 PM, generally in the
Mission or in Berkeley) to discuss this further. Some of us also hang
