[Noisebridge-discuss] more reasons we need a laser cutter

Laser cutters aren't all that bad regarding power consumption.  They use about 1000W while they're on.  That's less than a toaster oven, and in general they are powered on for less time than it takes to make toast.

That said, I'd love to have access to one! :)
