[Noisebridge-discuss] Slow internet access at 83c

i've (so far silently) thought of bringing one of
my 1U boxes to 83C. it would be very helpful, if i
do so, that i have internet access to the box.
i notice in the wiki something about a speakeasy
IP possibility, seems not implemented yet, yes?

on a separate note, i my self dislike wifi. i'm
willing to run cable around to present rj45 jacks.
i'm even willing to dig up cat 5 cable and boxes
with rj45 jacks.
would this step on any toes?

a further separate note: seems to me the (beautiful)
shelving solution in the closet off the workshop
should be redone: get the big clunky shelves out of
there sooner rather than later and make better use of
the space (i'm willing to help, and i've noticed
there's a tall though shallow rack in the upstairs
closet that could be used for network and other gear)
(i also noticed that the electricity run to the
workshop has additional circuits to power the upstairs
closet(s) as well as the closet off the workshop, and
i know someone who'd be willing to make the runs:
note the network gear runs on circuit 17, which feeds
the west and south walls of the main room, somewhat
precarious in the event of a short circuit during
a main room event).
