[Noisebridge-discuss] Drill Press

I have a RYOBI WDP1850 drill press, has a 500-3000rpm, continuously
variable drive. I'm happy to donate it to noisebridge, but just want
to make sure it's an item that would be wanted & used. I'm assuming
yes, because a drill press is a generally handy thing to have around
for building all sorts of stuff.

It would need to be attached to a stable surface, as it's rather top
heavy, designed to be bolted down to a work surface. If bolted to one
of the existing work benches, that work bench would probably need to
be secured (maybe to the wall?) somehow. I can bring in woodworking
tools & build/modify whatever's needed. It rotates on its column, so
the head could be swung out of the way when not in use.

To expedite appearance, transportation would be helpful (it's at my
apartment near 24th & Church).

Let me know...

John
