[Noisebridge-discuss] Soldering Workshop

I think I'll set up another soldering workshop for November. For this one I'll do a beginners' project again (for total newbies and for those a bit rusty at soldering), and also set up the SMT stuff for more advanced folks, and also get someone who's really good at the toaster oven technique to do a demo of that.

Mitch.

Sure, I have more SMT kits, and I can show you some tricks.
I had wanted to attend this but was also feeling under the weather. I've done a fair bit of soldering but I know my technique is far from perfect. I'd also like to learn proper SMT stuff. I've done some (mostly repair) but would like to do more in this area. If anyone has ever done the toaster-oven/wave reflow stuff with cheap home equipment, that might also make an interesting course.

Cheers,
