[Noisebridge-discuss] On The Subject of Books

Observing all the recent discussions regarding books of late, and perceiving
a need for a certain degree of tracking and organizing, would anyone be
opposed to my cataloging the library?

I think something as simple as a LibraryThing
<http://www.librarything.com/>account (which I will happily donate,
and is easily exported into other
formats) would go a long way in informing everyone of what's available when
they're not actually in the space, and help with donations, duplications,
etc.

My personal library is done in this way, organized by a Dewey number on the
spine, and I've helped the Center for Sex and Culture set up their library
as well.

I have a thing for barcode scanners, label makers and databases. Can you
tell?

Any thoughts?
