[Noisebridge-discuss] Club Mate shipment

Hi gang,

I've almost pieced it together now. SSL (no kidding, folks, there
really is an ocean freight forwarder called SSL, it stands for Sea
Shipping Lines) sent the attached quote. We are looking at
approximately USD 2875 or USD 2425 fixed cost for a TEU, depending on
how you read their quote (I gotta call in later to clarify). The DHTC
charges don't actually show up in right-hand side of the detailled
bill, I'm confused about that.

Also a number of other things that are overhead, such as insurance,
tax and bond are not to be included in this fixed cost (naturally).
You see them in the bottom of the quote, however.

Loscher (the producer of Club Mate) is asked for the following prices
per bottle (back at the end of January, need to reconfirm):

Minimum order: 1 pallet = 40 cartons, 20x0,5 litre bottles per carton
price per bottle:  € 0,38
+ deposit                € 0,15

=                         € 0,53 per bottle

Minimum order: 1 pallet = 40 cartons, 24x0,3 litre bottles per carton
price per bottle: € 0,26
+ deposit                € 0,15

=                         € 0,41 per bottle

The only missing piece is the trucking of the shipment from Loscher to
Bremerhaven, but that can be easily arranged for a fixed cost if I
understood Mr. Loscher correctly.

How many bottles do you guys want now?
