[Noisebridge-discuss] Fwd: [Eventsgroup] Noisebridge fundraiser in October?

The application for an event at Cellspace was more effective than I
thought. They REALLY like us and want us to come. I wanted to throw
this out on the table to see what people thought. Talking with them
on the phone, they mentioned that Thursdays and Sundays are their
"non-profit" nights where they'll let out the space astonishingly
cheap. (For about half of what Grey mentioned he could get DNA...) I
think it's certainly worth considering, especially if park fees wind
up being substantial.

Hey Christie, just wanted to touch base with you again -- I was sorry to
hear about the event cancelation.

A number of us here are really interested in doing something with
Noisebridge (I was just talking about it with Mitch Altman at the last
OSCON), and I wanted to see if there's anything we can do to get the
idea re-started again some time.  If a few hundred dollars would make a
difference, I would be willing to house manage the event for free,
myself.
