[Noisebridge-discuss] QR Codes

When I ran through the NB wiki the other day, I saw something about
there being lightning-talks at NB!?
If there is interest (and you allow 'outside speakers'), it would be my
pleasure to throw a couple of slides together and talk about the topic!

If you want to know more before that, I could also give a short intro in
the subject - I have no idea how you usually work on things like that
but writing everything up in an email is quiet cumbersome.

For starters, you could
- check out some general info at wikipedia (as linked on the NB wiki)
- have a look at semapedia (http://www.semapedia.org/)
- surf to http://qrcode.sourceforge.jp/ and look around
- check out http://code.google.com/p/zxing/ (As there is some Android
related hacking going on at NB...)
- get a QR Code reader for your phone (J2ME, Symbian, BlackBerry, ...)
-> browse to http://load.snappr.net on your mobile device
... there is much more info out there ... ;)

I also wrote a blog-post some time last year about how different 2D
Barcodes 'work' and what their contents are:

Cheers,
 Philip
