Having a regularly scheduled monthly event is a good idea. We already have 
a little bit of looking for support at weekly meetings, but they have to 
compete with all the other meeting items. This way we have an event 
focused on cool ongoing projects.

Suggest picking a day (third Thursday of every month?) and running with 
it. Can use a wiki page to have people sign up in advance if they want for 
a time slot, plus link to a page about the talk.
