It's a Cisco 7960, but it should be able to support any codec that 
asterisk supports.  I'm pretty sure asterisk sits in the middle of the 
voice stream otherwise I wouldn't have been able to hear you because the 
ip phone is on private address space).

Meredith, I didn't see any codec mismatches in the debug output for your 
call.  It looks like it negotiated the standard 8-bit ulaw at 8khz.

My guess from what I'm seeing is that it's a firewall issue.  Can you make 
other internet calls ok?
