[Noisebridge-discuss] tickets to HAR and Plumbercon, including airplane

We need a workshop on how to fund this kind of activity. I'd love to go, 
but can only afford the last four digits ($18.03).

Can anyone teach us how to find and apply for grants? Is "I need $1600 
to attend a pair of very cool and significant conferences" a valid request?
