The problem with resin casting is that it involves some really
horrible fumes.  They're so toxic you're supposed to wear a special
respirator just to work with the stuff, although small enough
quantities for a printer part wouldn't be too bad... except for the
part where they have to set up at least overnight... putting off toxic
fumes all the while.  It's precisely this reason that I put as a
priority for the new space that we have exhaust in the lab.  Well,
this and maybe doing some anodization.  So we can have more brightly
colored stuff, y'know.

I rebuilt my motorcycle fairing in the back yard of my building and
boy did that stink, even outside.  I definitely wouldn't recommend
anyone work with this stuff indoors at 83c.
