   proposal: some wednesday evening from 6:30 to 8:00 PM 
a one-time event that covers common ammo and guns that 
are available to californians: 
* handguns, self-loaders and revolvers 
* long guns, pump shotgun and bolt-action rifles 
* types of ammo 

   should cover rudiments of 
legality, safety, mechanisms, marks<gender>ship 

   event would certainly include hands-on experience. 

   if anyone is idiotic enough to think this would 
include shooting, or handling a loaded weapon, or 
even access to both ammo and firearms at the same time, 
it wouldn't. 
   might not include live ammo (if not, then would 
present dummy ammo or some such).
