If you are trying to say that is is your OPINION that top-posting is
inappropriate for this list then maybe you need to make sure there's an
etiquette
description for the list.  Is it also considered inappropriate to post HTML
(I would like to think so)?

And by the way, those of us trying to steal time from work to read the list
posts might
top post from time to time e.g. because the massively lame Gmail UI makes it
a hassle to get to the bottom of a message thread.
That's not a comment on your style opinion, that's a comment on time
management w.r.t. making time to interact
with the list

P.s. So next time someone climbs on their high horse telling you you're a
newbie because you top post,
ask them who's paying for your time to deal with the damn email messages ;-)
