Ian, there are many fine components out there. They all work great but you
have to know what you are looking for. So, think pie-in-the-sky.... what
exactly do you want? Go from there.

i'm looking for something more maneuverable for air flight. at maker faire i
saw some helicopters with two flying blades that looked nice.
also, there were a lot of companies at both maker faire and robotwars
selling kits. if someone could recommend some more companies selling kits of
robots aimed toward engineering, that would be great.
actually, lego mindstorm stuff doesnt look bad either.
