I'm interested in working with the signals side (interesting
ML/pattern recognition problems), and I know of two people who have a
bit of EEG experience who are interested.  I'll let them chime in here
on their own.

I think the interface to the computer is the least of our concerns.
We've got plenty of experience with that; the open challenges are in
making the underlying circuits work correctly and cleanly, then
getting the electrodes right.
