[Noisebridge-discuss] Game Night thursday- MTG

hey everyone-
there's been a sort of impromptu gaming (as in board and card) games night
happening on thursdays. I talked with some folks and for those of you
interested in Magic the gathering..
A pal of mine and i bought a box of
Unhinged<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unhinged_%28Magic:_The_Gathering%29>booster
packs. If you've never played unhinged, it's basically like a MTG
parody (but made by the actual MTG folks). the cards are weird, super silly,
and crazy fun. It's also liked often by those turned off by regular MTG. We
want to keep the game super mellow and un-anal-retentive, as we are both
just returning to the game after a long absence.
Anyways, we'll be bringing some packs to this thursday's game night. We're
thinking we'll do a 3 pack draft and then mix those cards into regular decks
for more fun..but we'll bend to the group wishes. they'll be $3 a pack.
please RSVP so i know how many packs to bring :) BYOB as the game is funner
that way.
I also have lands and cards for loan if you want to build a regular deck,
but they must be returned by the end of the night.
