here's the current library shelf plan so far: 
* build shelves out of wood and/or malamine (plastic 
  coated particle board). 

shelving possibilities include 
* 1" by 8" knotty pine, $0.88 per foot 
* 3/4" by 12" malamine, $11.70 per eight foot length 
* scrap 2" by 4" 
* masonite or similar backing 
* possibly shellac any wood or other material subject to water damage 

use scrap 2x4s for footings and vertical supports 
(use a router to create grooves for shelves in the 2x4s) 
use ends of shelves as center supports for shelves 
use small nails and carpenter's glue to assemble 

if you want a library, please contribute money and/or improved ideas 
and/or labor and respond to this email.
