Stuff happens at noisebridge, brief overview


Project updates:

Noisebridge security group's computer was lost, and is now found again.

Rubin talked about Journey to the End of the Night.  2169 is the
endpoint.  Concern raised about lots of drunk people showing up, but
based on past experience it will be a few tired, thirsty people drinking
water.  the meeting notes have a link to More Information.

Zedd updated about the kitchen, there are cabinets in process of being
installed.  Bookshelves got organized as well.


Membership binder:

Jason read out the names from the binder.  I forgot to write them down,
but you are welcome to read through the binder any time you're here (it
lives on the shelf on the dj booth next to the shrine).  Dave is ready
for consensus but is busy fixing a work problem so can't leave, is OK
with waiting another week.

Franticek is going to Cuba with some of the computers he obtained from
MCRC.  He's going to bring them to NB temporarily for testing, Thurs,
Fri, Sat, Sun.  He is still looking for a projector or camcorder, if you
have one please donate it to him.  If you want to help with this project
at all, contact Franticek.  Thanks to the community for help.

Seth is to become Secretary, subject to approval by the membership.  We
hope to be able to consense on Seth next week.

Board elections are coming up.  We really want to do a vote this time,
as consensing via email did not work for Shannon (there are still a few
members who have not responded).  See the email from Andy about how the
board would like to do this,

Leif suggested a simpler voting method as he is not convinced by Andy's
email that the Scholes voting method is best.  Andy has lots of good
reasons why the Scholes method of voting is THE BOMB and WAY BETTER.
Leif is referred to Andy directly.  Anyone else with questions about why
Scholes is suggested, is referred to Andy.  Rachel asked Leif to put his
idea in the form of a complete proposal, competing with Andy's, so we
can choose between options.
