Sounds like a slightly sticky relay.  It'll probably get stuck in the on
position permanently in the next few years, which is always exciting (and
often in the "smells like fire" sort of way).

And, for the record, my concern re: DDoS is, of course, a joke.  Does anyone
actually send serious messages to the list anymore?

(Well, okay, the kudos was serious.  I'm really happy with the new latch
mechanism.)
