In RE: buying vs. renting

There's more than cost concerns with buying vs. renting.  When you go to
that fellow on Alabama to do unspeakable things with a coconut, you're going
during normal-person waking hours, no?  Maybe even business hours only?
Hours of availability is a big thing with this crowd, methinks.

Also, the convenience of not having to plan ahead.  It's my experience that
Noisebridgers are notoriously bad when it comes to doing things in advance.

It's also not exactly fair to hold up equipment we now have as examples.
(Although I might reference my previous email about quality and ease of
use.)  We did just undergo a move and a lot of our hardware people are busy
working with hardware of a different sort.
