[Noisebridge-discuss] scope

I stuck it next to the newish looking soldering iron (although I don't
think you'd need a scope for the tip that's on there right now).

some random notes from my playing around:

It has ~100mm focal point, and I scrawled that on the base. it is
pretty close to focused for me (w/o my glasses) from the tabletop.
that's probably syboptimally positioned for actual work.

the main assembly (w/ the focusing knobs) has a bar with a screw-in
end. I put the screw on top sticking out a little so that accidental
loosening is noticed before the assembly hits the table.

focusing is on a pretty smooth track but the rest of the boom is not
(cheaper and available). randomly turning the knobs will likely cause
something to hit the tabletop. you can also get the assembly to be
tilted so personal adjusting is probably required.

I'm still playing withe the camera thingee sw so it isn't there right
now. it should 'just work' like a somewhat crappy webcam but I didn't
bring my machine.

I'm sure you either dont care or I've failed to address your need/
question.
