I tried to help her with some linux networking issues which she was 
already well on the way to solving, but unfortunately I think her new 
laptop has some sort of hardware problem as it would intermittently hang 
for minutes at a time and it only recognized a USB disk once that I saw.

She was talking rapidly about "loop causality" and ableian groups and 
lots of other stuff I did not grok ... she also said she will be 
presenting something at the meeting tonight. She is a very interesting 
and intelligent person, obviously ailed by some unwellness; I hope 
Noisebridgers will be excellent and kind in their interactions with her.
