[Noisebridge-discuss] Board of the Knowing

Cool -

I'll scan the space to see what is there. I didn't know the corkboard
existed! This could be an awesome place for posting photos of the regulars
to the space and what they are interested in.

As a "noisebridge authority for the time being" mechanism though, I think I
may still preference something magnetic. Only reason is, for a corkboard to
work, you need pushpins...and for whatever reason pushpins seem to fall into
the black hole in the middle of the universe and vanish forever on a regular
basis. For the mag board to work, all you need is physics.

I'll pick up some extra steel next time I'm steel shopping to get this
moving (this happens pretty often), as well as some magnetic sheets so those
that choose to put their face up there can start making mags!

The old corkboard is gone, though we have plenty spare ones. The
photos that were on it are now on one of the whiteboards near the
door, but that's easy to miss.

I'd be for putting it in a more prominent place. Also I'd be for
someone volunteering to go around and take photos (with permission) of
people to print out and add to the board.
