In case anyone still needs to fly: Put your brain machine (or other
zomg wires stuff) in checked baggage.

Though I got through Schönfeld just fine with mine, LHR threw a major
shitfit and I've gotten the Extra Super Special Personal Treatment™
all the way since (as well as delayed a day in travel).

I don't want to discuss it in more detail online, but ask me in person
if you want the story.
