Someone who made a Brain Machine at HAR this summer also had problems bringing it through a small airport in Scottland.  They called it, "Suspicious electronics."  After delaying him for 45 minutes, they took it away from him, before putting him on the plane (which actually waited for him).

 

When giving workshops, I have to check bags (filled with parts), so I always put things that security people won't understand at a glance (or ignore, since they look so normal, like TV-B-Gone remote controls).

 

It's kinda weird, but I remember that I actually used to like to fly.
