Sounds great! The thinking re Shop Class Fridays is basically a time
for demo's, workshops, etc around fabrication. For a while Friday
evenings have been mostly about cleaning up & organizing the shop...
it'll be nice to see some fabrication happening.

I realize the focus of this workshop is on PCB routing, but just
for future reference: I've been accumulating some metal & plastic
(mostly 6061-T6 aluminum & Delrin) in a bin on a shelf in the shop.
These materials are for general use, but they do have rather nice
engineering properties, so consider acrylic as a good starting out /
scrap / test material choice. I'll try to bring in some more material
this week, will see if I can round up any acrylic. Also, it may be
that machining T6 temper aluminum could be a bit hard on the mill, but
I suppose if we adjust feed-rates to maintain a minimal chip-load it
could be ok. If we had (or someone has) an appropriate oven, I suppose
we could draw the temper down a bit.
