An artistic side note:

There's quite a lot of interesting sine wave only music out there. I'd
suggest checking out no one before Oren Ambarchi, specifically his
Grapes from the estate release -

. Most of the compositions feature only four or five voices made of up
of single sine waves. Despite being harmonically simple, the effect is
HUGE. (it also helps if you play it rillyrillyloud).

There are also a lot of Japanese Noise Cats (tm) who are into sine
wave drone, but it's a lot less traditionally musical than mr.
