    Let me explain my confusion...

I don't know what you mean to speak about "the thing one" -- what is "the
thing one." If I knew that, I may know why we shouldn't speak about it.
Although, I'm confused why we wouldn't want to speak about something.

I see that this is a goal that we have. And, I imagine it should be brought
up in the Tuesday meetings to be consensed on for the next week.

What do you mean by a 'flat budget' for noisebridge? Do you mean, what is
the budget for the next month? Do you mean that we wish to keep a minimum
amount of money in the bank and not go below it? Again, isn't this a topic
that should be brought up on the Tuesday meetings and then consensed upon
the following Tuesday?
