Beth Noveck is the head of President Obama's Open Government  
Initiative.  She created Peer-to-Patent, which is accelerating the  
patent review process by opening it to public participation, and she  
wrote Wiki Government, published in 2009.  In this talk we hear how  
her ideas are working in the real world of Washington, and how they  
may play out as governance goes increasingly digital.

"Transparent Government" Beth Noveck, Herbst Theater, Civic Center,San  
Francisco, 7pm, Thursday, March 4. The show starts promptly at 7:30pm.  
To be sure of a seat, become a Long Now member and reserve a seat or
