I'm building a tracking beacon, meant to be bolted or epoxied onto
bikes out at Burning Man, that I hope may help recover bikes that are
stolen or misplaced. The parameters for the design are:

* very lightweight, small, and durable
* SMT wherever possible
* AVR tiny microcontroller
* powered by one or a stack of two CR2032 cells
* no more than two layers
* Antenna is part of the PCB, preferrably a trace on the board
* 915 MHz (3.08in antenna for quarter wave)
* beacons a 16 bit ID
* CHEAP .. VERY CHEAP

The idea will be to have six-eight machines stationed along the
cardinal directions around the perimeter of burning man, listening for
the bike beacons and triangulating their positions.
