I'm working on CNC milling an extruder head to turn the 3mm beads into
makerbot-compatible rod.   It's not that difficult a project, and may
come in useful later.   Essentially it's a big heated syringe with a
hydraulic piston made of some scrap steel.  Being able to run a
MakerBot at lower temperatures with a material that is effectively
recyclable in this fashion is useful.

It might even be a good way to recycle ABS (albeit at a higher
temperature to do the recycling and extrusion)
