##noisebridge and #poundnoise are both alternate channels that exist while #noisebridge is fucked up.

But I would like to point out that the mechanisms for retaining control of an IRC channel are given to anyone who has access to the channel's ACL: hence: Jake and Andy only. Any other solution, even those like "No ops at all" result in a trolled channel. No ops is just as bad as the wrong ops.

I am just so shocked at Jake's behavior here. I have known you for 10 years Jake, and you don't trust me?

we spend a lot of time taking shit about you in the channel, and we have always stood up for you and banned assholes who make fun of you. But you're only there and in country for brief periods of time, so you don;t see this, and you also do not know who's who in the channel. 

Please, please, PLEASE allow the members of noisebridge to control their own fate, rather than arbitrarily (YOU ARE BEING AN AUTHORITARIAN!) saying the channel is dead, and you won't help.
