[Noisebridge-discuss] [drama] Frantisek is going to stop --living-- residing at Noisebridge starting tonight.

Hi Frantisek, yes we know each other.

I even ate your pork, because you promised me that the beer-sauce made it kosher, and then I exclaimed around a mouthful of masticated meat, "Wow, I can't believe this is VEGAN!" and you giggled in surprise.

What I imply in my letter is that everyone is "living" at Noisebridge in their own way, as you assert. "Nesting" is my favourite synonym for "living and sleeping somewhere, i.e. making it a home" and I see a lot of hackers "nesting" at Noisebridge, if only nesting their parentheses in their lugubrious melancholy code. Or in their manic-hyper-links up-marketing language.

I was amusing myself, using other words that meant "living" or "home" in my example: "dwelling, lodging, digs, homing, flat, abode, trailer, habitat, crib, shanty, settlement", and, uh... "nesting". This type of humor uses word-play, is called a "pun" and is very very very tiresome to the people enduring such painful punnishment. But it's really important to include at least eleven puns, because it's usually the eleventh pun that gets the laugh, even when none in ten did.

Hugs and Huckleberries,
Molly

Hi,
I did not understood this part of your email:

I agree with
Frantisek, you're all /living/ at Noisebridge: I saw you baby, nesting
that parens (nesting that parens (I saw you baby, (nesting that
parens))).

What does it mean? Do we know each other.

Frantisek

Okay everybody,

You've been dwelling on this issue for a long
time, lodging complaints, getting in some snide digs, and finally homing
 in on a solution.

I flat-out can't abode any more trailer upset,
so don't make it too much of a habitat in the future. Man, this is a
long thread... I wish I had the crib sheets. So let us now sing some
shanties and rejoice in our final settlement.

I agree with
Frantisek, you're all /living/ at Noisebridge: I saw you baby, nesting
that parens (nesting that parens (I saw you baby, (nesting that
parens))).

And to start a belligerent Battle of the Tentacles
with Jimpants: There is nothing so sacred about English; each of us has
the rite to make of it what we will. Choose your own adventure:
sacrifice intelligibility for word-play and poetic punmanship, proceed
at your own risque...

Love to you all, excellent homies, wish I
could be with you for Fanksgibbing, but you'll just have to get by
without me. You know you always do.
Kitten whiskers and a unicorn scrotum,
Molly
