couple of weeks?  I haven't been to one of these yet but it looks like a

The 9/23 Nerd Nite SF is being sponsored by CBS's "The Big Bang Show"
and they are sending us a three hundred laser pointers. We thought it'd
be good for our geek cred to share with people how to hack these laser
pointers. I'm browsing through the Instructables laser pointer projects
and there are some good ones. Do you know anyone local who has done such
a project? We'd love to have someone staff a table to answer questions
and demo some projects. We can offer free admission and beer!
