Hi all,

Thanks for the compliments about yesterday's class. They mean a lot, and I'm glad you're getting something out of it!

Here's the code behind the mockup we worked on yesterday:

It's the code I wrote it in order to create the mockup, so it differs slightly from what we made in class. For example, .main_content is an <article> instead of a <section>. But do take a look at it.

For next week's class, we're going to talk about the fundamentals of HTTP and FTP. We'll be signing up for some free web space (from http://nearlyfreehosting.net) and uploading some files - then we'll talk about how web servers communicate with web browsers, and how files are loaded when a page is requested.
