Could someone use really strong solid state magnets in an art project
for burning man or anything else?

      material:  AlNiCo  (aluminum nickle cobalt)
      weight:  lots.   prob around or in excess of 1000 lbs per
      strength:   1.4 Tesla or 14,000 Gauss total.
      price:   free
      currently in a nuclear magnetic resonance machine

They are going to be moved today, Dec 2, out of a house in Livermore,
that might be a good time to pick them up, I don't know when or if
there is a real deadline for collecting them.
