Maybe it would be more productive for your understanding if you asked more
questions before being prescriptive about approach.

Just because you don't see something doesn't mean it didn't happen.

Just because an approach seems reasonable to you doesn't mean that it's not
untenable for another person, or a situation about which you are not fully
informed.

My thumbs are done with this issue for today.  I've invited you, both as a
group member and personally, to join in this discussion. Thank you for your
opinions.
